Hi all, When we make our Webservices in Apache Axis at Server, the first step is to generate the WSDL file by using Java2WSDL tool and passing the interface and ip address of server as argument. For example,
Then we use WSDL2Java to generate java files and write our code there.
My problem is that I do not know what will be the IP address of the machine where this service will be deployed. So is there any way so that we can make all the java files in our application but provide the ip address during deployment.
You will want to make the URL configurable anyway, so that you can use different addresses for development, testing and production. I don't know of a way to generate the code for that automatically; I usually add setters methods for the URL after the code has been generated.
