The Apache Web Services project has jUDDI, which implements UDDI in Java. That might be a good starting point.

If you have the need and the time to set up your own registry - great. However usually "learning about JAXR and UDDI" simply means using the JAXR Inquiry and Publishing API against a UDDI registry.

Currently SAP seems to still be running a test node that you could use; for information see http://udditest.sap.com/. IBM used to have a UDDI Test Node but they shut it down. Seems the same fate has befallen the Microsoft UDDI Test Node.

Hello Ranchies,
Thannks for the reply. I have made of registry given in JWSDP and successfully registered and query the registry.
Thanks for the advice that has been given to go through jUDDI. I will look at it.
