SSLHandshakeException

i am trying to use ssl for my apache axis web services.when i am running the following code i am getting "javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException"

import java.io.*;
import java.net.URL;
import java.io.InputStreamReader;


public class URLReader
{
public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception
{
if (args.length < 1)
{
System.err.println("Usage:: java URLReader <url>");
return;
}

In your client application I am not observed below Issue.

Made hand shake with your trusted Key store, Once it successful then server is accepted your request and followed by sent response to client,

Java provide HttpsURLConnection class for HTTPS connection, let�s have a look on API.

If you are using Apache AXIS client (I mean if you are using stub to connect the web services) , it is very simple and you need to set the few properties.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
