This week's book giveaway is in the OCAJP forum. We're giving away four copies of OCA Java SE 8 Programmer I Study Guide 1Z0-808 and have Jeanne Boyarsky & Scott Selikoff on-line! See this thread for details.
I've made a small webapp in Tomcat with Spring and Hibernate. Now I wanted to test JaxWs, so I tried to expose some of my service methods as webservices. Everything went fine until my client program tries to execute my service methods. It uses an instance of the service that is not the one used by spring. Because of this my DAO's aren't injected in the service instance, so I get a NullPointerException. Around a month ago I had the same problem with Axis(JaxRpc), but I solved this by creating a proxy that extended ServletEndPointSupport(a Spring support class for JaxRpc). Then I could reference the instances of my services that were managed by Spring.
Is their some kind of support for JaxWs in Spring? Or does someone know a workaround?
Thanks in advance! Kind regards, Tom

I did some search on the web and especially on the forums of JAXWS and spring and it seems that there isn't support for JAXWS yet. So I'll just have to wait.
