According to this article many of the Java Web Service developers kit (JAX-WS) tools will be incorporated in the Java 6 Standard Edition release.

Sounds to me like Sun has finally tumbled to the fact that some people get turned off by all the J2EE Enterprise Edition extras and would prefer something simpler. Of course this means that the Standard Edition is going to be even bigger, sigh.

Has anybody actually played with the early Java 6 beta releases??
