MIME or DIME for attachments

Hi again!

And yet another question regarding attachments (please don't call me a spammer :roll: ):

What is the preferred way of of transmitting attachments nowadays? MIME or DIME?

I have found some comparisons on the web and it looks like DIME is a little bit better on the performance side. MIME is still the default in Axis though.

Any thoughts?

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
