Custom SSL Handling

I have a simple portal application with around 50 users. I am in the process of integrating my app with another app through SOAP service. The problem is that the second app expect an unique X509 per user during the SSL handshake. So in otherwords, i need to store 50 cert in my truststore and then look up the right cert during the initial SSL handsahke. Does anyone know a soap stack that would let me do this? I have looked at both Axis 1.x and Axis 2 and it seems like they dont expose transport level APIs. I would apprecaite if someone can point me in right direction
