hi All,
does AXIS provide any tools for publishing web servivces to a UDDI registry? if so, is the registry built in to the AXIS framework?

No, Axis has nothing like that built into it. But take a look at the jUDDI and UDDI4j projects - they implement UDDI registries in Java.
