Multiple callbacks to Rampart's CallbackHandler?

The CallbackHandler passes in an array of Callbacks to the handle method. Why would you have more than one Callback? The handle method gets called once for each connection, correct? So it wouldn't be multiple Callbacks representing multiple connections, right?
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
