How "boolean" work?

i want to know that how boolean work?

boolean in java take 2 values either true/false and by default it is false.It is not 0 and 1 and the size is 1 bit

boolean is a java data types which holds the condtion either true or false .
it takes 1 bit memory.
Where we use it .
Suppose i want to check the color of bed is red or not than i take a boolean data type which save the condition the color is red than true other wise false.
