hi all ...
im a student of final year ... electronics engeneering ... i have a 3+ years experience with java ... i wana switch to J2ME ... big time ... i wana base my final year project around it ... any ideas .... please let me know ...
here is somthin abt the kinda stuff i want ... how abt a location aware mobile system ... and intuitive services based on it ...
any cool ideas fellas ...

From most of the postings I've read; it seems like people are so much into communication apps like chat, LBS etc.. I think we all must take note that the L in CLDC stands for "limited". The point is that connection to the net is available but assuming "Always on" is wrong. MIDlets should aim to minimize connections and work offline but with ability to synchronize back to the MIDlet server to refresh content or submit updates. Meditate on this and an application idea will reveal itself.
