Send file across

Dear experts,
Recently I have some problem in writing a J2ME program in which I need to send a file across to the other PC.
I had succeeded using in establishing connection between the phone emulator and the server(written in J2SE)using Socket.
My problem now is I do not how know to send a file from the phone emulator to the server that I had written.
Can you guys please kindly advise me on this.
