Hello, this is my first post in this forum. I was wondering if anyone has come across an article doing a comparison of J2ME and WinCE? Has anyone in this forum worked with both technologies? if so, what are your thoughts.

Rajinder, I'm not sure of what you mean. WinCE is an operating system and J2ME usually runs on top of an OS. So are you asking if J2ME is capable of running on top of WinCE or something else? Personally, I've worked on Compaq iPaqs running a Familiar Linux distribution. I've used Blackdown's Java 2 RE 1.3.1 port to StrongARM processors. We had a full-fledged distributed application (Swing, crypto, networking) on a desktop machine and we just copied the class files onto the iPaq and it worked like a charm... Please clarify.
