Do you mean alerts that are "pushed" into the device from back end? MIDP 2.0 will have a push architecture support.

You can easily implament such alerts yourself..although it's easier if not using just HTTP.
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link:
