I try to access a database from a midlet using a servlet and a http connection. The servlet engine is resin 2.0.1 running on 8080.
I'm using wireless toolkit from sun v. 1.0.3
On POSE it can't work because i don't know how to set the http proxy setting. I tried 127.0.0.1 and localhost with no results. On any other mobile emulator the midlet works fine without any setting.
Can someone tell me what to do?

You do not need http proxy. In POSE --> setting --> preferences menu, just check "Redirect NetLib calls through local TCP/IP".

Hi,
There is a Java HQ icon in the POSE. Go to Java HQ, Click Preferences. Enable the Networking. You can also set the HTTP Proxy there.
