I execute "preverify" , then a message shows up
it says "Illegal constant pool index".
what does it mean..?
the ".class" file has been created ,so the "javac" is fine..
and where I can find the reference about the error message..?

thanks for your help..

Make sure you're not using any float or double constants such as 3.14 as those aren't supported in MIDP 1.0.
If you're compiling with J2SDK 1.4.0 or higher, make sure you specify "-target 1.1" on the javac command line.
