IBM J9 and Palm Emulator

I'm programming a MIDlet that I want to run on the pocket pc platform and the palm os platform. I've made a build which runs perfectly on the pocket pc platform, but when I follow the instructions from the Websphere Studio Device Developer how to create an emulator session for running and debugging, nothing happens when I try to run the MIDlet in the palm emulator except that emulator is "loading the MIDlet". The file "j9stdout.txt" contains the message:
"======== J9 Standard Output (Wed May 07 19:26:51 2003) ========
<VM waiting for proxy on port=8096>
Has anyone experienced the same problem and perhaps solved it? I would appreciate some help here!
Ole Kristian
