Hi, I don't have dedicated GSM Modem for my wireless application. Can I use Nokia 7650 as a GSM Modem. Please suggest me how to use Nokia Phones as GSM Modem. Thanks

If you are using a Mac and have bluetooth support on both the phone and the Mac, you can use your phone as a modem via bluetooth. I do not know how to do it in the Windows PC world though.

GOod idea Michael. HAS anyone got a USB Bluetooth adapter on a windows PC... would you try to connect to the GSM modem in the Nokia and tell us what your results are.

Hi Vicky, The 7650 can operate as a GSM modem using either an infrared or a Bluetooth link from a PC. The Nokia web site has instructions for both. Have a look at http://www.nokia.com/cda1/0,1080,2018,00.html Daryl.
