I'm a little confused about something.
I was just reading about the push registry in MIDP 2.0 and apparently if two different midlets are both using the push registry, and listening on the same port, then only the first midlet that was registered will get launched?
If so, this doesn't seem like a very good solution to me.
Do I understand this correctly?

I actually think that the second application will not be allowed to be installed because the port is already reserved by the first application. That is written in the MIDP 2.0 specification Chapter 7 on the javax.microedition.io package.

Chai, it still does not meet the Javaranch naming standard. We require a real first and last name.

Thanks

Mark
