J2ME vs .NET

Hi there,
I'm working on a project to make a comparison between .NET compact framework
and J2ME (CDC/Personal Profile)
I have to make an application in VB.NET and J2ME.
The application is meant for a device with Microsoft Pocket PC.
What are the reasons why somebody should choose for J2ME?
What are the benefits? (Or perhaps what are the disadvantages?)
All support is welcome

Thanks

I wrote an article on this more than a year ago. I think most of the observations in the article still apply today.
