On server(enterprise) side I want to use GSM modem to send/receive the SMS. On client (mobile phone)side I want to develop midp application using wma.
But the API for GSM modem can't specify SMS port number, which the midp needs. How can I specify the SMS port number on GSM modem side.

Another question is can Nokia 3650 Symbian SDK(C++) accesse to the native SMS Inbox to filter the SMS message or intercept the SMS without specifing port no.

Any help/advice greatly appreciated,
thank you very much,

harvey

For the first question, check out this thread:

For the second one, yes, Symbian C++ provides API to access InBox (and almost any other native app) directly.
