hi,

If I write an application for sending text messages (one comes in the source code of the latest Sun toolkit) and upload this to a phone, can I send messages from this application or will the phone block it from doing so? I could choose the numbers to send them to by hardcoding them in or at random.

This is just a kind of experiment so any help would be greatly appreciated
