Hi Mobile Experts, is Palm v series PDA Supports PIM optional package or not? i am using Palm v. When i load the prc file (jad and jar compressed into prc) for using PIM application. some error "Class not support" and "Unable to load class" error occured. What i do? Give me suggestion. Thanks in advance edward

No, it does not support PIM OP. Although the PIM OP is originally proposed by Palm, they abandoned it about 3 years ago.

It is not possible with the standard MIDP on Palm.

You can use Palm's native C API to do that. Or you can use one of the non-standard Java variations such as Waba. Or, you can use Visual Basic for Palm from CrossFire. Many possibilities.

Thanx Michael, i am developing application for PDA using midp. If i use the c native api or other methods (you already told) for retrieving palm address book. Is any possiblity to combine c native address book retrieval application and my midp application. Kindly send your reply.
