Hi Omar,

Your phone already has java support. What you need to do is to upload
the jad and JAR file, which can be done in many ways.

Typical methods are:
OTA (over the air)
bluetooth
cable
infrared

Isn't the 6610 bluetooth enabled?

If you haven't gotten a USB BlueTooth dongle for yourself, I highly recommend it, it makes transfering files from your computer to your phone as simple as copying a file or two between "directories" through Windows Explorer. Plus you can use the Dongle for other purposes too.

If not you can try www.pcspix.com

They will allow you to upload your jar and jad file, then you can use your http connection from the phone and provision your phone that way.

As Mark wrote, it's as easy as dragging files from one directory to another
in Windows.

I can't remember exactly how you do it (im home atm. so I can't do any testing)
but just try to activate bluetooth on your mobile phone, move the phone close to
the bluetooth device, and when the device detects the phone Windows will tell you,
that it has found some new hardware. Double click on the "found new hardware"
icon in the tastbar and drag the files over in the "mobilephone directory".

Just experiment abit..

Good luck

What Svend says also works for Infra.

Sometimes those Cables only allow for synch with your phonebook, and contacts. It depends on the provider, cable software, and device.

I still recommend the Bluetooth, although looking at the 6610, it does not have bluetooth.

"Synchronize your phone book, calendar and to-do list with your PC using Nokia 6610 PC Suite4"

That description doesn't bode well.

It might be www.pcspix.com for you and install over the internet.
