Respected Friends,
I want to make an application in J2ME for a GPRS enabled mobile phone which is connected to the serial port or a USB Port of the PC,this application would be running inside the cellular mobile phone, when I will run this application all the files in my mobile phone with .txt extensions would be copied to the PC to some paticular folder passing through the serial port or the USB to which the mobile is connected,a problem which I am facing is that after the file passes through the serial port will it remain in its original state or I have to write some other application in the PC to bring the file in its original state,in the case of USB it will off course remain in its original state but does Java allow us to access USB port.Do I have to use Java COMM API for this purpose and will Java COMM API work with J2ME,I would be thankful to you people if you send me your precious suggestions regarding this application, also I was unable to find any book in which the author has explined applications involving PC interfacing through mobile phone so if you have some information than also please name some valuable books and other resources.

Thanking You,
Bilal Ali.
