Is there any way to reset a DataInputStream obtained by using FileConnection.openDataInputStream(). I tried the following code but it returned mark/reset not supported.

fc = (FileConnection)"file:///fs/test",Connector.READ);
DataInputStream dis = fc.openDataInputStream();
System.out.println("1 "+(char);
System.out.println("2 "+(char);
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
