Hi,

I am working on an application in which I want to create a Text file in Nokia phones. I have used the JSR-75(File Connection API) for this purpose.

Now the problem is that my application is running well in the default phones in J2ME Toolkit. I have used the following code for File connection:

String url = "file:///root1/myfile.txt";
FileConnection connection = (FileConnection)Connector.open(url,Connector.READ_WRITE);

But I don't know what is the root i.e. URL for making it work in Nokia phones.

I have used the following as URL also:

String url = "file:///C:/myfile.txt";

String url = "file:///E:/myfile.txt";

But these are not working in Nokia. Could anybody help me in this regard? If anybody has the solution please mail it at

rajneesh.aggarwal@gmail.com
or raj_aggarwal@rediffmail.com

Its very urgent.

Thanks.

rajdvlpr rajDeveloper,

Please change your display name to conform to our naming policy. (In short, you need to use your real name). Thanks.

As for your problem, are you getting any error messages or the files are just not created? Can you test that in Nokia's emulators?
