How can I create/code a webpage that will open on mobile device.. which technology do I need to read to do that?

Hmm... We don't have a forum dedicated to "Wireless Access Protocol" (WAP).
We have an Other APIs forum but I think you will probably find more help with this quesion in the J2ME forum so I'll move it there for you.

Well there are a number of browsers for Mobile devices already out there. Some that takes normal Web Pages and displays them in a mobile type way. WAP is a possibility, but limited.

I had this Nokia Phone Hacks book from O'Reilly, which had a lot of good information for Mobile "web sites"
