Hello Friends,

Presently I am developing a J2ME application. In which I try to connect with remoter server. It's running successfully on emulator and sonny erricson w750i but when I run my application on nokia mobile like 6630, 6600, nothing is happened for long time and afte that connection time out error occured.

I have developed application using MIDP 1.0 and CLDC 1.0. Please tell me what is wrong here.

What is wrong is basically the main problem with J2ME and devices. While there are great specs out there, vendors don't necessarily implement them correctly. That is where a tool like J2ME Polish comes in. It has a database for each device and what APIs work and don't, so that you can pre-processor your code to include the code that works for specific devices and can create jad and jar files for specific devices, vendor of devices, etc.
