Unable to connect to internet via emulator

Hi

I am unable to connect to internet via emulator
i am using Series 60 2nd Edition SDK for Symbian OS, Supporting Feature Pack 2 emulator
I have configured emulators ethernet settings as mentioned
in the developers guide(without DHCP support).
when trying to connect to url using ethernet service from emulator
i am getting further two options to select either NTRas GPRS or LAN_IAP_1
when i have selected LAN_IAP_1 for connection i am getting an error :
Services no gateway reply.

and when running the demos example provided by wtk2.1
following error
java.io.IOException:

SymbianOs error=-5120:Internet Could not find specified internet server


java.io.IOException:
SymbianOs error=-5105:System :System error


how to activate the ethernet via emulator,please help me
