Hi everybody, I am writing a midlet that display the realtime streaming images from the IP camera. The IP camera provides the rtsp with the links rtsp://IPadres/mpeg4/media.3gp or rtsp://IPadres/mpeg4/media.amp. I wonder if j2me can call the media player in the phone to handle the media stream or is there anyway to decode the stream effectively in j2me. If you have any idea, please help me with this problem. Thank you in advance

Yes, it is possible, see this discussion thread at Nokia's developer forum http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=93004 The syntax for opening RTSP streams using Manager.createPlayer() with MMAPI is 'rtsp://'<address>[':'<port>]['/'path] [ December 02, 2006: Message edited by: Eduardo Marques ]
