how to load simple application in Blackberry simulator

Hi
can anybody help me how to lanch our applications like "Hello World" in black berry simulator. we have developed Hello World application in BB JDE 4.2.1.
when we say "Build and Run " only Black Berry simulator is running .out put from our application is not coming.we loaded our .cod file from blackberry simulator's-File-Load option . but it still not loading anything.even sample programs from Black berry also not executing.
do we have to configure anything else. please let me know.
