I want to use the java.lang support in J2ME to obtain the Cell ID. According to the documentation of the cell phone, 'System.getProperty("CellID")' should give it to me but it is giving me a null. Can anyone help. Am using Motorola L6i. Thanks.

Hi,
Retrieving the cell id is phone specific. Most of the phones do not support. I guess this is the issue for your problem. Check whether the particular phone supports this feature or not. Hope this helps.
Regards.
