Hi, I am quite new to j2me. I have a project in .net and I need to implement it in J2ME. Its database consists of about 50 tables. It uses SQLServer lite for mobile and Sql Server 2005 as remote server and these two databases synchronizes occasionally. Can anyone suggest which DATABASE is suitable to implement this project in J2ME ?. When I googled I got J2MEMicroDB and Apache Derby. Also DB2 and Sybase. Will these provides the JDBC API also for connection?
There a a number of databases available for J2ME, some of which are SQL and some of which are not. A tougher problem may be syncing with a server-side database. As far as I know, you'd have to do that the hard way.
