Hi,
new to
Java. I'm working through the SUN cert course, and have a few books. I've got a few months behind me, so not much.
Is there any sort of comparison to time spent writing Java, to bieng certified?
For instance, someone has been a programmer for X amount of time, and someone else passes the cert. All things bieng equal can the cert person claim a time equivilant?
Just curious if the cert had a standard beyond being one itself.
Thanks,
Jay

Jay if you study correctly
you should also code the stuff you learn to see it in action and understand how it works.
I'm asking a moderator with the powers to move this to the "Programmer Certification Forum" , you stand a better chance of getting more and better responses to your question.
Good luck
