Hi cowboys,
I think thread is a nice topic! hard enough. O'Relly 's book is not bad. But Ivor Horton may be helpful.
Java supports only thread-based Multi-tasking or processing-based multi-tasking also?
I think both are supported in different JVM specifications depending on multiprocessor or singleprocessor computer.

Gemstone has an app server that does use more than one CPU. They did have to modify the VM itself so that IPC is possible.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
