i have a multi user client/server application which takes the xml file, parses it and inserts into the database.
I have synchronised the method of db insertion to avoid collision/deadlocks at the time of more than one request. It works fine with 2-3 users but as the number of users increase it fails, and the server crashes.
I have an apache webserver using tomcat3.2 servlet runner.
can u identify the problem?i require an urgent help?
plz correct me in my thinking of using a connection pooling class for the same.
