Hi Dave
This depends on what level you are at... If you are close ie been studying a while
Simple process! you can order your voucher from Sun Ed in the UK the phone number is 01276 416520 once youve got the ticket you'll get the voucher with the SE number eg SE12345678(I think you can get this directly over the phone from them if your keen or wait till it arrives in the post)
Next go Prometric here are the ones for the UK (they run the tests for Sun)
and give the one close to you a ring to book in - they will ask you for your SE number
Assuming your starting out studying (I'll guess youve got experience with java) heres a rough guide that others would be sure to add to
1. Read the Sun success guide, mindful of the objectives:
2. Visit maha annas site and Marcuses sites for loads of resources (tutorials, mocks etc)
3. site a few mocks to see what level you are going in at
4. Get some good study books Roberts and Heller, Mughal & Rasmussen are popular read them several times and refer the API
constantly, sitting the tests in the book
5. Once finished reading sit loads of mocks to reinforce info if some areas are constantly weak in the tests, reread those sections in the book
6. In the mean time visit java ranch until your phone bill sends you broke!! (seriously its a good place ask questions, give advice and see how others did it) then refer to my first paragraph
I'm sure others can add/ammend this advice...

good luck - Jim
