Error in: JavaThread "Finalizer" daemon

I have a problem with my application. It suddenly just exits without a warning or nothing. A file is then created which contains the following:

The program starts 4 identical threads that is running all the time. As far as I can see the threads are synchronized so that they don't access the same resources at the same time. This problem only occurs when i'm running the program on a machine which I control with Remote Desktop (Win XP).

Anyone who have a clue where to look in my code? What is this "JavaThread "Finalizer" daemon?

Ideally, your code (if it's 100% Java with no native code) should not be able to cause these sort of failures in the JVM. That's why we run in a JVM! I'd say post your error message on the Sun bug parade.
