Hi all,

I'have run may thread (class implementing Runnable)using a shell script and stored the PID in a file so I can use it to stop the process using the kill command.
my thread open some resources, like an rvd (Tibco RVD), so when killing the process using the kill method, my rvd is still running.
my question is : which Exception must be catched when shutting down a java thread using the kill command line, so I can close my rvd connection int it.

Kinds regards

Please do not crosspost. It wastes people's time and effort.

I'm closing this topic as the other topic has a response.
