Salam(Hi) all my Friends,
I m going to give the paper in 23 days from now on i have almost completed my Preperation but its seems tht mooks r makiing things difficult bcoz the exam objectives tells tht their is no need to know the Components(List,CheckBoxex, etc)Methods and their constructor and the book from which i prepared (Complete Java2 certification (Simon rebert,Philip heller and Micheal)) also dont dissused this topics in Exam Objectives.
Plz anybudy who Knows something about this or someone who is certified Help me ........

Muhammad
I've noticed that a few of the books (if not most) contain additional material that is not listed in the objectives. Most of them do this to give you a more thourough understanding of the information they are discussing. As far as for actually what to study, go by what is in the objectives published by Sun. they go to great lengths to make sure there is nothing on the exam that is not in the objectives.
You can ignore the other material in the books if you like, but the few things not related that were in RHE I found to be helpful to my overall understanding.
hope that helps

Muhammad it is my sincere advice to you that there are lots of mocks on net.Do not go for all coz most of them do not cover the reall objectives of SCJP.Here are decent mocks on net.

And since SCJP was rename last year!! and some of the mock exams are old! Sometime the questions on mock aren't right on the topics! But doing the mock exams is a must! You would learn a lot from them.

I have not heard of a mock that is truly bad, but I must show off that many people have said mine are really quite good, all questions are on topics that can come up in the real exam.
Also part of the revision of Bill Brogdens Exam Prep book I worked on was to indicate which items do and do not come up on the exam.
