Expert advise required,
How an Applet can test system to determine it access rights ? I am not sure it is possible or not if yest tell me how ?

there is a security file for java runtime envirnment placed in
C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.3\lib\security\java.security
this file defines all the rights for applets....
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
