I can not view my applets from Internet explorer, I can only use the appletviewer to see the applet. What is it that I can do in order to view my applets in Windows Internet explorer.

Have you emebeded your applet in an HTML page?
put your applet in an HTML page using tag applet.
your HTML will be
<html>
<body>
<applet code="AppletClassName" width="xxx" height="yyy">
include params if any here.
</applet>
</body>
</html>
and open that HTML file in the Internet Explorer.

Microsoft declined to include a Java JVM in the most recent version of Internet Explorer. Obviously as part of their long term campaign against Sun and Java.
Sun has created a plug-in for MSIE that will run applets. You may already have this as part of your SDK, or you can download it from the java.sun.com site. If you are running under Windows XP, you will need the latest one from the site.

Like the previous reply says if you are using IE6 that could be your problem. However, from looking at your next post the problem also lies in the fact that your are using Swing components in your applet. The JVM in previous versions of IE and most versions of Netscape withe perhaps the exception of 6.0 or higher only supports Java 1.1 which limits you to AWT in your applets. The only solution to this is to download a plugin from java.sun.com at Java Plugin.
