servlets and jsp are server side java ? WHAT constitutes SERVER SIDE JAVA ? what about j2ee ? what technologies would it constitute ? would it include servlets and jsp as well ? (Val: I have posted similar question on developer ranch also), but i find really helpful guys here !!

hi Mark. check my answer at servlets. also j2EE just includes all the server side API u need . the enterprise in the first E means distributed - server programming.
