Is it included in the SCJP exam? Can I expect questions on this? Has anybody got questions on lesser known classes of IO package, including this one? This class looks different from rest of the IO classes of IO, moreover looks quite exhuative and interesting class as a parser. Do I need to cover it in details? TIA, - Manish

I don't believe SUN wants you to know each and every class in the java.io package, moreover each method!! I can't speak for SUN, but I am sure they realize any good java developer knows how to use the JDK API reference and thus should not have to memorize such details. I think it's good enough to know and understand how to use the most common java.io classes and have an good idea of how they work. [ March 02, 2002: Message edited by: Rajinder Yadav ]
