I'd just like to ask if the free mock exams on the internet are enough to pass SCPJ2 or do I have to buy the commercial mock exams like JQPlus?
Need your advise.

You do not "have to" buy anything. Plenty of people have made it without buying an exam or a study guide book or one of Sun's expensive workshops. You must evaluate your own state of preparation and exam taking style.

Hi Tina,
You can visit my site for a list of free mock tests. It should keep you busy for a while.
I have finally decided to devote the time to get certified also and I'm trying to rearrange the tests by level of difficulty. Your input would be much appreciated.
Happy practicing!

Hi Tina,
Commercial Mock Exams like JWhiz, Jq+ are not necessary, even Free Mock Exams are not necessary, even no book is necessary but definitely all of these helps you score better. From my experience I will recommend these as I could get 98% in SCJP using Whiz. Though it was not must but i could not have got such a high score.
Best of luck for your exam
