Hello all,
I have soft versions of
1. RHE
2. Java 2 Certification Training Guide(Jaworski)
3. Java 1.1 Certification Training Guide
SCJP preparation books.
I want to ask people: Should I put it to my web site? Should I have some problems after this?
P.S. I think it will help some Java programmers. But I need your response.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Jamal,
I believe that as long as the books are not "copy-right" for re-distribution, then it should be ok to publish it on the website.
It would definitely be of great use to most of us.

As Clement said I would make sure first that the books are not copyrighted. As far as I know the RHE is copyrighted. You are not allowed to redistribute it I guess. Please make sure before doing something silly and getting into trouble.

If you violate copyrights you could find yourself in a mess of serious trouble. If the authors and publishers of those books wanted them online they would have done it themselves!

I would storngly advise against it. If you really think you should put them up, first check with a lawyer. At least call the publisher and ask them!
