1. If you haven't done so, try the 3 Marcus Green mock exams. The nice thing about these is they clearly indicate the section of the objectives that a question is trying to test for. 2. For every question you get wrong, write down the section. Over the three tests you'll get enough questions that you'll likely see a couple of areas with more errors than the others. You should study those areas. 3. While you are taking the tests, just keep a note for yourself of any question you had to think long and hard about... even if you get the answer correct, in a sense I'd think of those as potential wrong answers in the real exam. Again, look for patterns in where you should focus your attention. 4. When you get questions wrong, ask yourself why. Is it because you didn't know the material, or because you were doing something else like mis-reading the question or not examing the code carefully enough.

Thank you all for your advise. I'm getting 75%-80% on Marcus Green mock exams. Will study a little more on those that I missed.
Marcus Green Exams are more easier than JQPlus or JWhiz...but more closer to real exam. You should try any one of those 2 Self test simulator for better confidence. May be Best score will be the great surprise for you. :-)

Score in JQ+ between 80%-90% and you'll have no surprise in exam. Every certified rancher can corroborate my words. BTW, this is not an advertisement of JQ+-there are a lot of good mock exams. Jamal
Excellent advice from the other posters, look out for I/O and threading. Remember that you need to know a narrow amount of threading well, don't get distracted by wider issues, stick to the stuff you are likely to be tested on. Marcus
Marcus Greens exam was way easier than 1.4 Beta, if that's the test you're taking

I don't know about the 1.4 beta, but Marcus' exam #1 is a pretty good match to the non-beta exam. I found #2 was easier than the exam; I don't really recall about #3 (I was probably getting used to his approach to questions by that point).

Clive, in what way was the 1.4 beta harder? My assumption is that the topics have hardly changed at all (apart from some assert questions). Marcus
