Hello, Im new to the forum and will be starting my certification preperation next week. I was wondering how much time per week would u guys say is required to take the certification in 8 weeks. Ofcourse its more for some (like me ) and less for others, but i was trying to figure how much time i would need to spend on prep. Your input would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Every second that you can afford to spend while keeping everyone you'd otherwise associate with from hating you for ignoring them.

Couldnt be that bad. Ive been a Java Developer for 3 1/2 yrs now and while thats not enough to pass the exam im sure it should speed things up a bit.

Alex, I am like you...solid Java experience for a couple years. I passed the SCJP2 exam last week but barely. I studied the Mughal book about 2 hours a day for 3 weeks. Like you see said in this forum. Take lots of sample exams, and just don't get over confident. You cannot study enough it seems to me.
