I have just been reading the posts from ranch hands sitting the beta version of the new scjp exam. Just let me ask: Will the new exam be this long? Or does the beta have all these questions as part of it's 'standardisation'? Will the new exam be the same 2hours and 59 questions that the exam currently is? Bob I am fairly sure the new exam, when it is finished, will not be 4 hours long You're right the beta is this long so they can ask a large number of questions of the testees to get the most feedback on the most number of questions. However, there is no guarantee that the new exam will be the same length or number of questions as the current one.
